Machu Picchu Tickets 2014
Trying to buy Machu Picchu entrance tickets for 2014, but having no luck? Well there is good reason for this, and it’s down to the unique way that the Peruvian government works!
Yesterday at the Ministry of Culture here in Cusco, we were informed that Machu Picchu Tickets for 2014 will be on sale around the last week of December, and I quote, “most possibly December 28.”
This means that if you are travelling independently or part of an organised trip to Machu Picchu, you are going to need to hold tight for a little longer.
We know that this does seem a little crazy, but we were told that the Ministry of Culture is waiting for tributary information from the Peruvian government which will govern the price of the ticket for next year. We were informed that most likely the price of Machu Picchu Tickets 2014 will increase by just 3 or 4 Soles.
For most people this shouldn’t cause too many problems, just a little inconvenience. However, it is worth noting that there will probably be a rush for tickets for the first few months of 2014, as there are many now waiting. This is particularly important for Machu Picchu & Huayna Picchu Tickets which are limited to just 400 tickets per day.
Here at Machu Picchu Entrance Tickets, we have a large waiting list of tickets for January and February 2014, and are poised with pencils at the ready to secure the tickets for our clients. If you want to go on the waiting list for Machu Picchu tickets then proceed to our booking form and fill in your information. The day that the tickets are on sale we will contact you and confirm payment.
